Sam Appleby



Sam Appleby is a London-based musician, photographer and urbanist. His music covers a wide range of genres including jazz, indie rock, folk, EDM and processed field recording. A sax player and guitarist, his influences include Wayne Shorter, Steve Reich and Sonic Youth. Much of his work combines sound and visuals on mostly urban themes.

This Winter is an occasional collaboration between Sam and poet and former bandmate Lavinia Greenlaw.
